The best medicine for a bad day
I heard about this podcast in an ad on the amazing Abroad in Japan podcast and it sounded great. It’s even better than anticipated! I’m a teacher and have been preparing for and filming lesson videos for my kindergarten class since classes were suspended in February. It’s been truly dreadful, and staring at a screen all day long has sunk me into a pit of despair! Listening to this podcast while making the billionth PowerPoint presentation of the year has been as good as an antidepressant! Each episode is full of outlandish facts and insane stories that leave me grinning like a total idiot while sitting at my desk (and consequently giving my colleagues the impression that I’m a bit unhinged). Thanks to Luke and Pete for making me smile during this stressful time! You guys are amazing!
Strangely intelligent and most amusing
Having listened to Luke and Pete on the Football Ramble (another great podcast) for a couple of years, I was intrigued to see how this would go.
It's like being with a couple of mates chatting in tangents as is the wont of many a man. A thoroughly enjoyable listen, laugh out loud funny in some cases, and also strangely intelligent touching on many differing cultural and historical topics. Keep it up boys!
