The guys discuss DT’s poral surgery briefly and his concerns for the Comic Con in Boston which seems to be losing celebrities. Then the guys do a first where they refuse to discuss Star Trek or Star Wars and discuss their favorite Sci-Fi Books and series. Mack cover Alternative history with aliens or if the South won the War. DT give another couple series adding onto the theme and then Mack talks about an alien invasion in a freshly post 9/11 America that felt too Star Trek like.

A very much needed retrospective on the Stargate franchise is done with special guest: Dave Walsh from These Sci-fi Guys! DT moderates as Mack and Dave explore the franchise, what they liked and what they didn’t beginning with the movie all the way through Stargate Origins.

The guys are back and are tackling their Western Episode that they tried recording a few weeks before but tech issues stopped that. They go into different sci fi western shows like Brisco County Jr and Firefly. Then they explore different movies like Avatar and Back to the Future 3. And yes, Star Trek is mentioned a few times too.

The guys discuss their Memorial Day weekends. Then they pull a full 180 and venture into Happy or Feel Good moments in Sci-fi. Yes, that moment is there. And Poker is involved in not one but two of them.

The guys are back and Mack is talking about earning his Dad Card by repairing Dry Wall, cutting down a tree in his yard, and bleaching the porch. That last was not a euphemism. Then they get into the reeds and go through the saddest moments in Sci-Fi. They tak about Futurama, Stargate, and more!

The guys discuss an article talking about how the media should blame the audience for Star Trek Discovery’s failings and should focus on the writers and producers of a show that was supposed to revive the Star Trek Universe but in reality inhibited it. Then they explore different pilots and finales in Sci-Fi such as Stargate, Picard, and Bad Batch.
