09 - Forced to Pivot - EVE Startup F***Ups

Sarah-Marie and her partner sought to solve a big problem for the electric vehicle charger infrastructure. They got backed by investors, partners, and even users, but their model relied on people traveling from place to place. So, after the first lockdown and travel restrictions were lifted they decided to launch thinking that those restrictions wouldn't come back. The reality was that lockdowns continued and travel bans were extended so they were forced to pivot their business model, killing the original approach and sending them to initial grounds.
