Grand Canyon Hiking/Running Tips!
If you or a friend are planning to hike or run in the Grand Canyon, listen to these tips first! One of the most popular adventures in the Grand Canyon is traveling from one side to the other. This is appropriately named: “Rim to Rim” because you are going from one edge of the canyon to the other. The trek from one side of the Grand Canyon to the other is a massive effort but is one of the most incredible things you can do on foot! It is totally worth it, but you need to be prepared and wise to make sure you have a fun and safe time.
Timeline:
1. Running 1 mile today
2. Experience is best!
3. "When" you go matters
4. Call the Backcountry office
5. Study maps and trail guides
6. Start your day early
7. Consider N-to-S If you prefer a video version or would like to watch other Grand Canyon and running related content, check out my YouTube channel here: (Day 23): Grand Canyon Hiking Tips! https://youtu.be/e-CMa-7mF2Q
