“The more things change, the more they stay the same.” I maintain it’s because we refuse to learn from history. Humans have always thought much of themselves, always thinking a new generation means a mighty step forward. Yet, we do the same terrible things we’ve done for thousands of years and the only difference is the method. But the linchpins never change.
