Customer Reviews
A go-to Podcast .
Since it’s inception The Stand has been a top 5 for me and deserving of a big thank you for lightening those dark Covid days. Up there with Callan , McWilliams , The Rest is History and more recently Empire and The Rest is Politics, the Stand has been a welcome education on national and international matters with Eamonn ably abetted by a stellar list of regular contributors . Tending towards the centre politically it tries to analyse and inform by giving time and space to these informative reporters . Long may The Stand continue . Pitchforks at the ready . Richard Ennis.
Hanging on all day …and worth the wait
I watched the oireachtas committee yesterday re; Ryan Tubridy and Noel Kelly.
I watched and waited for Eamonn’s pod today to hear his feedback. as I knew it would be worth the wait. The discussion between eamonn and fionnan sheehan excellent and measured. Eamonn praises Fionnan for his independent journalism yet Fionnan would’nt be on the pod if he didn’t rate eamonn. Liked the fionnan’s insights especially why they dropped the reports to the oireachtas an hour or two beforehand to prevent leaks ..makes total sense
First class presenter

Congratulations to you Eamon and keep up the good work. A real easy listening show I urge all to enjoy! Thank you for making my gardening more interesting
