Episode 8 - Trial to Conviction, Felon to Republican Nominee

Episode 8 - Trial to Conviction, Felon to Republican Nominee

On this episode of Ford News, Johnathan and Brian break down the aftermath of the former president, Donald Trump, being found guilty on all 34 counts in the election interference and hush money trial.  We talk about the jurors and why this case was not rigged.

In Segment Two, the boys get into the possible impact that the guilty verdict will have on November's election.  We also discuss the preposterous idea that NY Gov. Kathy Hochul will pardon Donald Trump. It. Ain't. Happening.

The Ford Fact Check lays out the list of 37 countries that Donald Trump can no longer visit as a convicted felon. Will those countries make an exception, we shall see.

Episode 7 - Who's to Judge: District Court to Supreme Court - Ethics Complaints to Convictions

Episode 7 - Who's to Judge: District Court to Supreme Court - Ethics Complaints to Convictions

On Episode 7 of Ford News, we dive back into the courts. We start in the Supreme Court where Justice Alito was flying an American flag upside down outside of one house and displaying another controversial flag outside of another house. Is he really blaming his wife?

Also in the Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas' wife played a major role in the events of January 6th. Have we reached unprecedented partisanship among Supreme Court Justices?

In segment two, we head back to the courtroom in New York City where we may get a verdict in Donald Trump's election interference and hush money trial this week. Was Robert Costello the bombastic witness that we thought Michael Cohen was going to be?

Plus, Jack Smith may have found a way to take the documents' case away from Judge Aileen Cannon. Will his legal maneuver work?

In the Ford Fact Check, Johnathan talks about Donald Trump's obsession with crowd size and how recent Trump events in Wildwood and The Bronx weren't exactly pulling in the crowds that the Trump campaign said they were.

We remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms serving in the Armed Forces on this Memorial Day. May their sacrifice never be forgotten.

Episode 6 - Shocking Truths and Untruths: Why not call it a lie?

Episode 6 - Shocking Truths and Untruths: Why not call it a lie?

On this episode of Ford News, Johnathan, and Brian take a deep dive look at the journalists in Trump's pocket, according to Michael Cohen's testimony in the NY hush money and election interference trial. Maggie Haberman, Katie Tur, and Chris Cuomo were all mentioned as media members who were on speed dial for the Trump Campaign in 2016.

Johnathan wants consequences. Brian pushes back a bit after 25 years in journalism.

In Segment Two, we dive into the testimony of Michael Cohen. Did Michael Cohen lie on the stand? Could this impact the outcome of the trial? How is this all landing with the jurors in that New York City courtroom?

Segment three brings us to the "idiot kicker." Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker gave a commencement speech last week at Benedictine College and pretty much pissed off just about everyone. He delved into misogyny, anti-semitism, homophobia and so much more! Brian has a take that might strike you as odd.

And, of course, we end the show with the "Ford Fact Check," as Johnathan sets the record straight about some misnomers floating around about the Trump NYC trial.

Episode 5 - Stormy, Noem, and Nikki - Trump's Issue With Women

Episode 5 - Stormy, Noem, and Nikki - Trump's Issue With Women

On this episode of Ford News, Johnathan and Brian dive into the testimony of Stormy Daniels in the election interference and hush money trial in New York. Could the salacious aspect of her testimony be something that the defense brings up on appeal if Trump is convicted? What impact did Daniels' testimony have on the trial, and why will we not see Karen McDougal take the stand?

Michael Cohen is on the stand and we expect more fireworks as Cohen will be sitting about 10 feet from his former boss. Will the prosecution be able to reign in Cohen after the former fixer has been blasting his former boss on social media for months?

In segment two, we discuss the consistent buffoonery of South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem who admitted in her book that she shot her dog and a goat. She lied about meeting the leaders of North Korea and France. She's canceled media appearances and her book tour. She has been an utter disaster.

This week's Ford Fact Check brings us to the impact that former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley is having on the Trump campaign, despite her dropping out over two months ago.

Episode 4 - Jury and Universities: America has Students and Trump under Judgement.

Episode 4 - Jury and Universities: America has Students and Trump under Judgement.

On this episode of Ford News, Johnathan and Brian start by covering the Gaza protests happening across the country on college campuses. We both agree that violence and vandalism are wrong and that those who participate in those acts should suffer consequences. We talk about the young man down on the Ole Miss campus who danced like a monkey in front of a black woman.

In segment two we discuss the NY election interference trial where Hope Hicks was a witness. Hicks got emotional on the stand and we get into why she may have broken down.

During this week's "Ford Fact Check," Johnathan talks about what was in the Senate border bill that Donald Trump put the kibosh on.

And the guys wrap up the show by agreeing that President Biden needs a win with a border bill or a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas before the November election.

Episode 3 - America Divided: Trials Beyond the Courtroom

Episode 3 - America Divided: Trials Beyond the Courtroom

On the third episode of Ford News, Johnathan and Brian dive into the difficult subject of the Gaza protests on college campuses across the United States.

Brian has a unique view as an American Jew who supports Israel, but not the government of Bibi Netanyahu.

Johnathan makes some great points about how we got to this point and while the formation of Israel as a nation was certainly not done perfectly, the only way to move forward is through a two-state solution.

In segment two, we cover the new indictments out of the state of Arizona as fake electors take center stage. Of course, we keep our eye on the happenings in the NYC courtroom where Donald Trump is facing testimony by witnesses in his hush-money case.  Also, there is the Supreme Court case about presidential immunity, and Brian and Johnathan agree that the courts will not save us.

The Ford Fact Check is back, and this week's edition looks at energy policy under President Biden and Donald Trump. Which president has us more energy-independent?
