Hello and welcome to the second part of the end to our first season! This is the second half of an interview Bob O'Boyle did with Tannner Sholey. Tanner has been part of the Montana Grizzlies Hurling Team since the beginning.
Tanner is an amazing guy. He just showed his Butte Tough as he underwent surgery for cancer this month. Tanner and his wife Lizzy are fantastic folks!

    Please enjoy the interview.

We'd also once again like to thank the Blaggrds for allowing us to use their music for the podcast. You can find them online at theblaggards.com where you can listen to their podcast Slappercast.

Hello and welcome to the delayed end to our first season! We kind of hit a stumbling block in our flow after we had to cancel the Thomas Francis Meagher Cup that due to some early weather. We've been working on what we want to do for season two as well as how to close out season one and we've decided to close out this first season with an interview Bob O'Boyle did with Tannner Sholey. Tanner has been part of the Montana Grizzlies Hurling Team since the beginning.

This week we are taking another step back and listening to an interview that Naoise Waldren did with Chad Ireland from Missoula Montana after the Grizzlies' first national champion chip win. We keep bouncing back to some of these interviews from the beginning of this hurling legacy here in Montana and i think it’s important to do. For me it really highlights the comradery of the team members. You can hear in these conversations the bonds that have developed. This is why sport is such a huge part of culture. This is why we rally.

    Pleae enjoy the interview.

A really big thanks to Naoise for sitting down with Chad and discussing his experience here hurling in Montana as well as the importance this has played in exploring his culture and heritage.

We hope to see everyone in Helena on the 28th of September for the Thomas Francis Meagher hurling tournament. It’s going to be a great time and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone there. If you haven’t listened to episode 12 yet, bob and i sit down and talk about some of the details, the reasons behind having this in Helena and some of the folks that are really helping out to make this happen.

Welcome to episode 12 of Hurling in the Shadow of the Rockies!

I've been really looking forward to this episode. I sit down with my good friend and one of my partners in this podcast, Bob O'Boyle and we get to discuss some of the things we've been working on this summer, working up to the first ever Thomas Francis Meagher Cup in Helena on the 28th of September. I've mentioned this in the last few episodes and Bob and I discuss this on the road often as we're out doing these things and it's great to finally get some of this information out to everyone.
