I used to watch 7 matches at the weekend until last season. I watch just a smidgen now ( like an hour in total) as it’s been taken over by human rights abusing state filth. I only watch a smidgen now just to follow my favourite podcast. That’s how much I love this podcast. Plus being a homo , the guardian weekly football podcast makes me feel well at home and I love all the contributors. Thank you to all the football weekly family ♥️

Hands down the best, funniest, and most entertaining football podcast out there. Great format with a brilliant, affable host in Max Rushden. The legendary Barry and a host of brilliant guests such as Jonathan Liew, Barney Ronan, Robyn Cowen, and loads more. Plus it’s free! Insane value for the amount of time, laughs, and analysis I get.

Brilliant podcast. Their World Cup previews were great in that they spoke about the football but also about the issues in Qatar. Must listen for anyone that has the slight bit of interest in football.

Nobody cares about WSL, started listening to the the podcast to listen about mens game years back. Too much WSL on the show. Whenever I see it is a topic , I don’t listen, there are other podcasts to listen to. Give good views when talking about Premier League.

Used to enjoy it, but Barry has turned into an insufferable old git, he really is a miserable middle aged man who tries too hard to be acerbic and his whole grumpy cynical schtick has worn really thin.
