European club competition qualifiers are in full swing with 4 Armenian clubs competing, incluidng champiosn Urartu, Pyunik, Ararat Armenia and Alashkert! All 4 teams are in the UEFA Conference League competition and look to represent Armenia for a 3rd consecutive years.

Armenia wrap up the first international window of 2023 and matchday 1 of UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers with a 1-2 loss by Turkey and a 2-2 draw in a friendly with Cyprus. Despite the results there is a lot to be optimistic for in the future of Armenian football. This window saw national team debuts of 7 players, including Nair Tiknizyan, Hrant Leon Ranos and Georgi Harutyunyan. All of the newcomers impressed massively and will give Petrakov a lot to think about as the old guard let the team down again.
