What a GW that was!!

We reflect on the season's biggest scoring week so far and wonder if this was the making or breaking of our seasons.

Robbie's big score sees him lose himself completely, as he praises Arsenal, goes after Jurgen in a big way and somehow criticizes a team that outscored him by 20 points.

We congratulate Notts Forest on calling out corruption, give Harry Maguire and his delicate head his fair due, try to figure out how the hell Andy Faulkner does it, before Paddy decides to go full balls out with his wildcard, and then we round off the pod with one of football's great truths- John Terry is a plank. Enjoy!!

We're here to pick the bones of the weekend that might well have finished the title race, and to pick over the bones of one that might just reignite it.
It was little red arrows aplenty for your sheepish hosts, as a disastrous GW infected the pod. But don't worry, our spirits remain unbroken as we attack the last few weeks of the season, and (whisper it) begin to think about next year already...

Episode 39 lands, and it sees Robbie back from the cliff edge of last week with a much more respectable score.
This week we marvel at the unpredictability and entertainment that are Man United games, and ask, is Ten Hag a tactical genius after all? Robbie is beginning to wonder if he was wrong after all and Arsenal are just really really good, we spend way too long complaining about how City are too boring for their own good, one of us comes out swinging in James Maddison's defence, and the greatest game of all time, Super Mario Kart, gets a little copy and paste mention.

It's a short turnaround as the next GW is almost upon us- but we got there.

Join us as we get down to the brass tacks of some pretty mental games. From the craziness of Newcastle and West Ham, the pure comedy of Brentford and Man United, the boredom of the big Man City Arsenal game, and everything else in between, we go through it all.

We look forward to the big midweek games, discuss how the triple captain just isn't worth the effort, wonder about the media glorification o Declan rice, and contemplate recording a drunken pod. Yes, really.
