The England Podcast, It’s Coming Home is here! Started by England fans, for England fans in the run up to Euro 2020, we’ll be discussing the highs and lows of the Three Lions. From debates about who should be on the plane, or coach as the case may be, to soaking up the joys of taking in summers of football with your mates and total strangers, we’ll be covering it all! It’s been a while since that glorious summer of 2018 and I think we’re always more than ready to do it all over again. Rashford Boots in Two | Wales 0-3 England
Good news! England are into the knockouts with relative ease after a 3-0 victory against Wales in which Marcus Rashford, as Good Morning Britain described it, "booted in two goals" whilst Phil Foden "saw in one more".
Awful terminology aside, it was a comfortable win and a much more impressive performance from Southgate's side, and one that Simon, Josh & Matt were more than happy to discuss the day after.
Also on this show, there's a recap of England's group stage as a whole, a festive World Cup Quiz-thing and a look ahead to the prospect of Senegal on Sunday.

FIFA World Cup 2022 Preview
So it's finally here, 5 months later than usual, the FIFA World Cup of Cognitive Dissonance. The World Cup in Qatar is a troubling one for fans around the world, and an awkward thing to handle for the players, managers and coaches alike.
In this preview for a very strange spectacle, Simon, Josh and Matt take a dive into Gareth Southgate's squad selection, look ahead to the first game against Iran and discuss how possible it is truly enjoy a World Cup at this time of year, with these hosts in charge and the huge list of controversies overshadowing proceedings.
We're expecting a far from smooth ride throughout the tournament and we intend to keep shining a light on all of the darker, grimmer aspects of an event that we should all be able to enjoy guilt-free as fans and participants, but arguably can't.

UEFA Nations League Preview & England Squad Reaction
England fans assemble! It's been awhile for us but we just couldn't resist chatting about the Nations League fixtures ahead of the Three Lions this summer.

Are We There Yet? | England 1-1 Hungary
Don't worry, we haven't scuttled off just because it's not a summer tournament! We're back behind the mics after missing the September qualifiers to talk about England's penultimate set of games in their effort to cement a place at World Cup 2022.

It's Not Coming Home (Just Yet) | Italy 1-1 England (Italy win on penalties)
And so, it wasn't quite meant to be. As gutted as we all were, we got a big podcast squad together for one last Euro 2020 hurrah of an episode the morning after the night before to reflect on England's crushing defeat on penalties to Italy as Euros glory slipped from our fingertips.
On this episode of It's Coming Home, Simon, Matt, Josh, Konny and James went over what went wrong on Sunday night, what went right over this summer as well as discussing the abhorrent abuse of some England's black players post-game, and the regrettable scenes around Wembley over the course of the evening.
Fear not, though, we also look for the positives going forward and set our focus on a winter World Cup in 2022!

We're in the Final! | England 2-1 Denmark
My oh my, we've only gone and done it! Gareth Southgate's lovely lions are in the final of Euro 2020 and will face Italy at Wembley on Sunday. It was some night against Denmark on Wednesday and it's pretty hard to sum up the joy the whole nation felt but Matt, Simon and Josh had a bloody good go at it. We also, obviously, lookahead to a blockbuster final at the weekend. Get in, England!
