When starting Well Fed Photography our mission was to do more than preserve family histories through beautiful pieces of Art. We also dreamed of creating a movement in which individuals and families would be invited to live their best lives through accessing their fullest potential.

In line with this vision, we have recognised the importance of conversations and experiences being shared and heard - especially from thought leaders across this beautiful country and beyond who are living a life of service through their gifts, talents, and specialised knowledge.

Therefore, we have made a decision as a company to hold space for these important conversations by regularly bringing them to our viewers/following, and client base. We will be doing this through interviews that will be posted across our social media platforms, website, YouTube channel, and via podcasting.

We hope you enjoy this series and accept its invitation to live your life to its highest potential!

Episode 2:4 ~ Raising Children’s Confidence with Photographs

We live in a time in which people have thousands of photos on their phones, but very few printed photographs in their homes. While technological advances have provided new ways for photos to be taken and viewed, nothing replaces physical photographs and the sensory experiences they provide.

Furthermore, photographs displayed in the home offer reassurance and instill confidence with messages that say, “You are important”, “You are wanted”, “You are loved”. Listen in to this episode to learn why our particular approach to Photo Sessions helps every member of the family feel accepted, valued, and loved - exactly as they are!

Episode 2:3 ~ How Can You Learn From Something You Never Take the Time to Know

Episode 2:3 ~ How Can You Learn From Something You Never Take the Time to Know

If I asked you what you really wanted out of life, would you be able to tell me?And, if you did know what you want out of life, would you instantly know exactly how to get it?I'm guessing the answer to both of those questions is a simple, if hesitant, "No."

How do I know this?Because most people don't actually know what they want - or at least they say they don't. They spend time talking about how much they want things - like their finances, health, and relationships - to be different, but never make meaningful or lasting progress in creating those changes. They set out on a new venture, get excited, and tell everyone they know, only to lose interest, get distracted, or simply go straight back to comfortable, well-worn habits once the excitement and novelty has worn off. Then they tell themselves that that particular goal or dream must not have been for them; otherwise, they would have definitely been able to make (and sustain) the change.Does any of this feel eerily familiar to you? What if I told you that you already have an instant hack for both knowing what you want and knowing the next steps for having it?What if I told you that this built-in guidance system can also easily indicate the best places to direct your energy, can provide insight into the things that are the most important to you, can tell you your next right steps, and even guide you to the type of support required to make these new and lasting changes permanent in your life? You're probably sitting there thinking I must be talking about your gut, your intuition, or a spiritual connection. But the amazing thing is, I'm not! This superior built-in guidance system is none of those things...It's actually your fear.

In this week's 10-minute episode, I talk all about this! Enjoy.

    Episode 2:2 ~ Parenting Inconsistently

    Episode 2:2 ~ Parenting Inconsistently

I recently read an article about parenting written by my friend, Gaby Abrams. As an expert specialising in the subconscious mind, it was interesting to read her take on things, but there was one part of the article that really made me stop and think about my own approach to parenting.

Listen in to find out why I think parenting inconsistently has plenty of merits of its own. If you’re an inconsistent parent like me, you just may find yourself feeling better after listening to this episode. And if you consider yourself a very consistent parent, this episode will offer an eye-opening alternative perspective worth hearing.
