Florida Athletic Director Scott Stricklin made comments to indicate that the Gators are not at all worried about the prospect of adding Florida State to the SEC. If FSU were to join the SEC, that would not be a good thing for the Gators and HC Billy Napier.

The ACC has reportedly pondered incorporating private equity to raise more money to close the gap between them and the SEC/Big 10. That would have consequences that we can't necessarily see right now.

SEC commissioner Greg Sankey says his conference isn't thinking about expansion and is focused on their 16 members. Utah put out a statement refuting a report tying them to the ACC. Don't fall for the "statements trap" in realignment.

Miami @ Florida in week 1 of the 2024 college football season is one of the best non-conference matchups on the schedule. The pressure in that game falls on Miami and Mario Cristobal--despite being on the road.

Sports reporter/columnist Dick Weiss tweeted that Utah could be looking at exiting the Big 12 to move to the ACC. That move wouldn't make sense, at least not while the ACC is unable to offer stability in its league.

The ACC has made it clear they are going to fight Florida State and Clemson's efforts to leaving the ACC. If just those two leave, North Carolina is the key to holding the league together in the long run.
