Manmadh Rebba UltraMan Triathlete on Staying in Flow with Life YogiTriathlete Podcast

    • Health & Fitness

"We're going to take everything away except for your basic needs, are you still going to show up and do it?"
-Manmadh Rebba

Imagine this. The day before you embark on your greatest athletic adventure, you return from the pre-race meeting to enter a burglarized home. The place is a mess, your meticulous organization violated, and your items strewn about haphazardly. In shock, you take in the scene less than 12-hours out from your race start.

This unimaginable reality was the beginning of Manmadh (Mann) Rebba's first UltraMan competition weekend in 2017. His rental home, now a crime scene, left him and his crew with nowhere to sleep the night before the race. In a decision not to become victims of circumstance, Mann and his team secured a hotel and began to put the pieces back together. In other words, he stayed in flow with what life presented on that day.

Although a devastating experience, Mann is no stranger to overcoming the obstacles of life. As a now multi-time Ironman and UltraMan triathlete, Mann had to overcome the trauma of two near-drowning experiences to get where he is today. Mann is not only an example of strength and resilience but also grace. Don't be fooled by his gentle demeanor; this guy is resourceful and relentless.

Manmadh is an Ironman, an UltraMan, a Triathlon Coach, and a newly vegan yogi. We dive into his inspiration to change his diet and his deep philosophy around the food that we put into our bodies. We are thankful to have been connected with Mann through YTP guests, Mary Knott and Mel Urie. Listen to this episode with your entire being, and you will hear more wisdom than words.
