On this episode we discuss “The Five Love Languages”, a book authored by Gary Chapman. The idea of Gary’s book is that everyone has a primary love language in which we best receive and give love. The languages include quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service, gift giving and physical touch. Learning our partner’s and kid’s language will help us to better express our love to them.

Kendra Fisher joins us to share what she has learned about food through an unexpected journey. After learning her son had a condition known as “leaky gut”, Kendra had to rethink the way she looked at food. Having a family background in the food industry and a current occupation as head cook of a school, Kendra truly is the “Queen of Food”.

We all had pre-kid expectations about what motherhood would look like that didn’t quite fit reality once our little tykes entered the world. From labor to raising teenagers, it’s certainly a learning adventure as we discover our unknown reality.

On this week’s episode we are delighted to have an experienced homeschooler, Amanda Sheffel, share with us her insights on homeschooling. Being homeschooled throughout her childhood and as a mother of four young boys, three of whom she homeschools, she has plenty of wisdom to share.
