Life 101
Life 101
Don’t stress about the little things.
Focus on what you can control.
Learn to consciously manage relationships.
Never be rude & Always say thank you.
In life you’ll need allies, never take anyone for granted.
Let success/failure be a motivation not a source of pride/shame.
Never feel too important
We’re all pieces in the macrocosm of life and we have our individual roles to play.
Once you’re gone life will eventually go on seamlessly without you.
Take out time, ignore your struggles and enjoy this moment.
You can never get back lost time.
Live your life with gratitude - It might not be the best, but it certainly could’ve been worse.
Be happy for how far you’ve come.
We all make mistakes - No one is perfect and no one can ever be.
We can only strive for perfection which makes us better versions of ourselves.
Relax, Restrategize, Retry!!! -
Journey of Self-Discovery
STEP 1 - KNOW YOURSELF
We all have our own lives, unique challenges, and individual goals.
Do what makes you happy!!!
Never allow someone else’s success/failure to distract you.
STEP 2 - IMPROVE YOURSELF
We all have various strengths and weaknesses.
Your lifetime requires moving from where you are to where you need to be.
Greatness doesn’t happen by chance, it takes a series of deliberate efforts towards a particular goal.
You need to strike a balance.
It’s always better to over-perform than not perform at all.
You shouldn’t let the challenges of tomorrow stop you from starting today.
Be a better version of yourself.
STEP 3 - EVALUATE YOURSELF
Ask yourself “What am I doing?”, “Who am I doing this for?”, “Does this make me happy?”.
Self-evaluation is important so in hindsight, you’re not living your life for someone else or living someone’s life.
You need to be able to accept responsibility for your actions, so be conscious while making them.
In life, sacrifices have to be made - but ensure it’s in your best interest.
Don’t live your life for someone else, we all have our lives to live.
Seek advice when necessary, learn from others’ experiences and allow this to inform your decisions.
Be grateful for how far you’ve come.
Ensure you enjoy the moment.
Plan for what’s next. -
Become a Manager
Manager Management
Skill/Knowledge is not proportional to Success.
Sell yourself to your boss.
Proper communication is key.
Under-Promise and Over-Perform.
Time Management
Roughly sketch your daily plan.
Can take as little as 5 mins, but would maximize your entire day.
Helps you with a road map to track accomplishments.
Retrospect at the end of the day.
Career Management
Make a conscious decision.
Your level of management determines your overall performance which builds integrity.
Don’t take on too many projects.
Always look at the bigger picture, not quick wins.
