When I was reading the account of King Josiah, in 2 Kings chapter 22, I felt like a light came on towards an intriguing connection. The high priest, Hilkiah, finds the Book of the Law and brings it out into the light. All over the Earth, in this generation, it seems that the *Great High Priest* is doing the exact same thing, right now.
Josiah's response to what he hears, as a righteous man who does not turn to the left or to the right, is of utmost importance. Could there be a key here for us today? Let's find out!

In John chapter 4, we see an interesting contrast between Yeshua's students and the Samaritan woman at the well. Some are found more concerned about natural circumstances and another is ready to truly listen to Messiah and receive the living waters that lead to eternal life.
This account shows us the great value in receiving the word of truth, when it is rightly heard and personally applied. On the other hand, too often we are all like the disciples in this text - missing the deeper matter at hand.

In this episode we'll set the account of Yeshua healing the man at the synagogue (with the withered hand, in Matthew 12) alongside Deuteronomy 22 and Exodus 23. If one studies the entire Word, from cover to cover, he will see that Yeshua never needed to exalt Himself over His Father's Law. In fact, all that He did was a perfect demonstration of It in action.
