With the Covid-19 Emergency, New Jersey requires towns to provide MORE information. Starting November 30, 2020, the Mayor and Council added full test of all communications, motions, and ordinances to the meeting agenda. And the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment posts plans and pictures on the Ramsey website before their meetings.

But Ramsey didn't let its residents know!

Let's keep this information flowing even when the Covid emergency is over.

And let's have the M&C agenda posted on Friday - when it goes out to the M&C.

On Oct. 12,  the agenda was posted at 4:34 pm, the day before the M&C. WITHOUT MY TIMELY -SUBMITTED FAX.  The Council President - running for re-election - told me when I said that it hadn't be added to the agenda by 5 pm on Wednesday Oct 13, that my fax was added to the agenda AT 7:00 PM, JUST BEFORE THE MEETING.

Mr. Kilman had mentioned to people that his wife is working in Atlanta, and that when his son finishes high school, he'll move to Atlanta. BUT THAT WILL BE BEFORE HIS TERM - IF HE'S RE-ELECTED - IS OVER.

Sunshine Week, the time for all to cast SUNSHINE on the Ramsey government. The Mayor and Council said their video broadcast report was available for TWO people. What about all the residents? And they said that they'd approve the purchase of the video system at the next meeting (in two weeks)...even though the report wasn't provided to all.

Listen to the podcast, email the Mayor and Council (mbendian@ramseynj.com, cc: ramseynotes@yahoo.com, with Subject: To the Mayor and Council), demand that the video report be posted, ALL residents informed of the report and where it's available, time to read it, and a public meeting where all can attend and ask questions, get answers, comment, and also hear others' questions and comments.

Then redo the video proposal, give time for all to read it.
