- Sport
Recognize is a longform docu-series analyzing the effect of media representation in women's athletics on society at large by exploring the ways we, as a culture, are losing out by keeping women’s sports on the sidelines.
We’ll talk with athletes, reporters, and experts on everything from pay parity to beauty standards to the ever-present “inspiration porn” in today’s coverage of women athletes.
Using a mix of news clips, original interviews, and archival tape, we’ll take an in-depth look at the larger stakes and contextualize for the listener why representation matters. Hosted by Kelaine Conochan.

BONUS - The Badwater 135 Ultramarathon
TODAY, July 11th, 2022, 100 new badass runners will take off on their own Badwater adventure running 135 miles over two days in the most blistering heat on Earth.
If you’re curious what Badwater was like, we’re dropping Kelaine's post-race interview with Clay Skipper, where we recap the highs, the lows, the yelling, the pooping, and the long, slow grind across the desert.
