    Ep. 63 – POLLY TOMMEY – What is the Truth About Vaccines & Autism?

    Reconditioned is a place for listeners to be exposed to information about health and personal growth, that they might not find elsewhere. Though the subject of vaccines might seem off-topic for those of you who follow my personal growth work, it was still important for me to offer this, because the whole point of the podcast is to bring information that you might not be able to find elsewhere; information that you might be looking for yourself, and information that I believe needs to be heard.


     


    Though I have touched on vaccines on the show, I had never done a whole episode on the subject until Dr Palevsky’s episode (episode 61). However, based on my own vaccine injury that was the catalyst for the juvenile rheumatoid arthritis that shaped my entire life, I felt it only right to dedicate some time to this very important subject.


     


    If for no other reason, I believe my audience are always looking for more information on this subject; information that is often censored and therefore hard to come by, which makes making an informed choice very difficult indeed.


     


    Polly Tommey’s son Billy was severely vaccine injured at 13 months, leading to a decline in his neurological function and a diagnosis of autism, as well as severe gastrointestinal problems.


     


    This all happened around the same time that Dr Andrew Wakefield published his findings surrounding the link between MMR and autism. The study was debunked, but not because his findings weren’t true. There was something much darker at play.


     


    More recently, William Thompson, a top scientist at the CDC, admitted that there had been fraud within the CDC when it came to the truth about the findings on the link between vaccines and autism. He was recorded saying that every time he saw an autistic child he felt he was at fault, and he had to speak up. The utter silence from the pharma-funded mainstream media on what Del Bigtree had called “the biggest news story since Watergate”, prompted Polly, Dr Wakefield and Del himself, to create the film Vaxxed, which looks at what actually happened at the CDC, and what was happening with children who were being vaccine injured.


     


    In this episode we cover all of this, and more, to get to the bottom of why so many people feel so strongly about the questionable safety and efficacy of vaccines.

    If you're anywhere around my age, you probably remember former Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor's name from the gossip columns in the '90s and '00s. 


     


    She was known throughout that time as the Primrose Hill party girl who experienced all London's nightlife had to offer and more, alongside the likes of Kate Moss and Sadie Frost. 


     


    What she didn’t know back then was why she was so susceptible to alcoholism and why she needed it so much, and, interestingly, why her body was able to process it so efficiently at the time.


     


    A series of traumatic events led Davinia to seek answers, eventually leading her to the world of biohacking and health optimisation, and in this week's episode of Reconditioned, we had such fun talking about:

    Since the rollout of the so-called Covid vaccine (which we refer to as an injection, not a vaccine; you’ll understand why once you listen to the episode), I have been bombarded with messages about what is in it, how it works and why many of us in the health optimisation world believe it to be not only dangerous, but a crime against humanity. When I thought about who to get on the podcast give us the answers to these questions, Dr Lawrence Palevsky was the only person I knew who could do this justice.


     


    Dr Palevsky is simply one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever come across when it comes to the subject of vaccines and he didn’t disappoint.


     


    We talk in depth here about how the messenger RNA technology works, about the ingredients (and the lack of information offered about the ingredients by the pharmaceutical companies), how the synthetic spike protein works, what parts of the body it is most likely to affect, what the long-term effects are likely to be, how to avoid it and so much more.

    Ep. 60 – DR STEPHANIE RIMKA – The Case for a Meat-Rich Diet & Brain Optimisation

    Over the past 2 weeks my objective has been to get to the bottom of the long-standing debate on whether a plant-based or a meat-based diet is healthier. Last week we heard the argument for plant-based and this week I speak to Dr Stephanie Rimka, an award-winning holistic brain optimisation specialist, all about why she believes having a diet rich in organic animal protein is integral to health optimisation.


     


    Dr Rimka was vegan for 12 years before she learnt about how the brain cannot function without animal protein.


     


    Just like last week, the episode got controversial and a little heated! But I’m here to facilitate open conversations and I intend to never censor anything so I’m bringing you this episode exactly how it was recorded. If media outlets are censoring anything, that’s exactly the information you need to be looking to research.


     


    Also, it should be said, I adore Dr Rimka – she’s become a friend and colleague, and I’m a fan of her work, following much of her advice myself.


     


    I did not agree with much of what Dr Bajekal spoke about: in terms of where she gets her vitamins from (synthetic) and eating non-organic soya for extra nutrients (whole forests are being chopped down to plant GMO soy so I’m not quite sure how this is healthier for the planet than organic meat farming), as well as her views on conventional medicine that greatly countered my own. Whereas, although Dr Rimka’s views are controversial, they seemed closer to nature, which resonated with my core beliefs more.


     


    What is my conclusion on the subject following these episodes? Please listen to the intro of this episode to hear my conclusion but I will state this:


     


    It seems that firstly, an individualised approach based on what is right for our individual bodies, is integral, and that coming back to nature and living as close to nature as possible is key. Eating GMO soya doesn’t seem natural, nor does taking synthetic vitamins that interfere with our bodies’ natural processes, so where we can get what we need from food, we should, and the sourcing of that food should be as ethical as possible.


     


    If it were a choice of non-organic meat vs no meat, the choice would always be no meat. It should be HEALTHY.

     Coming from a completely unbiased place of having been both vegetarian and omnivore, and seeing, feeling and understanding the benefits of both, I wanted to create a 2 part series where we really get to the bottom of whether or not one is healthier, or whether, like with all things when it comes to healthcare, it’s a personalised approach based on each person’s requirements, and this is the first in that 2-part series.


     


    My passion is to provide people with information that they might not have access to otherwise; for people to be able to make decisions from a place of informed choice; to be able to break apart conflicting information to make the right decisions for you and your family and that was my intention with this series as there never seems to be a definitive answer on whether plant-based or some organic animal produce in the diet are healthier. It goes without saying that ethically, we know that plant-based living would help the planet and is kinder to animals, but I wanted to put that aside so that we could be totally undistracted by anything other than which is healthier.


     


    Dr Nitu Bajekal is a plant-based women’s health OB/GYN and speaks here about why she feels plant-based eating is the absolute healthiest option for everyone.


     


    I did not agree with some of what Dr Bajekal was advocating, for example eating non-organic soy (or any soy), foods fortified with synthetic vitamins, and a lot of her views on allopathic healthcare. However, I respect her views and respect her as a source of information within the plant-based world, and the episode is brought to you as it was recorded in order not to censor anyone’s views simply because they may differ from my own.
