Road trip! Nick and Grant have traveled south to sunny Coachella Valley to bring you the latest from Acrisure Arena as the Firebirds get ready to play their first home game of the 2024 AHL Calder Cup Playoffs.
First up: Ryker Evans, Shane Wright, John Hayden, and Chris Driedger chat with Nick about the first two games of the series against the Calgary Wranglers and what it will take to win on Wednesday night.
After that, Nick and Grant are joined by Hall of Fame goaltender and current Firebirds color analyst Grant Fuhr. He shares stories about juggling baseball and hockey in school, his time with Wayne Gretzky and the Edmonton Oilers, and how he made the transition from the goal crease to the broadcast booth.

The podcast looks south to sunny Coachella Valley to check in with the voice of the Firebirds, Evan Pivnick. Evan regales us with tales of his career path from Bowling Green State University to the AHL and everything in between.
