Courage for Our 'Little While'
The repetition of the phrase "in a little while" in St. John's Gospel is not accidental. Rather, the Evangelist invites us to consider the meaning of these words in relation to Our Lord's death, resurrection, and second coming. Moreover, the phrase reminds us of our short life on this earth and that our life with Jesus in the next is always imminent.

How Do We Love?
Holy Thursday offers an opportunity to reflect not only on the mysteries of the liturgy, but on the message of unity, peace, and fraternal charity given through the institution of the Blessed Sacrament. These words from the Epistle of St. James remind us that we live only by the gifts of God and that it is incumbent upon us to continually ask Our Lord for them.
