Marathon mania, 17th century deaths and a murder trial media frenzy

Marathon mania, 17th century deaths and a murder trial media frenzy

In this conversation, Cassie, Sophie and Jen discuss various topics, including road rage, the London Marathon, unusual causes of death in the past, and how they would like to die. They also mention a man who ran the marathon while drinking wine, a Belgian brewery worker with a rare condition that causes his body to produce alcohol, and a tweet about causes of death in London in 1632. The conversation discusses the ongoing trial of Karen Reed, who is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter while operating under the influence of alcohol, and leaving the scene of personal injury and death. The case is highly divisive, with Karen maintaining her innocence and claiming that she is being framed in a police cover-up. The timeline of events leading up to the death of John O'Keefe is explored, including Karen's changing story and the discovery of evidence such as a broken taillight and DNA on the scene. The defense alleges that other individuals present at the party could be responsible for John's death.

Absolutely Hilarious

Genuinely can’t get enough of this podcast. The genre of Irish-Female-True Crime-Paranormal-Mythology-Pop Culture-Conspiracy Theory-Crazy Animals-Parasites-Aliens-Survival Stories-Internet Deep Dives-Creepy-Weird-Wonderful-Interesting stories from all over time and space is the niche I was looking for and the girls have hit the nail on the head

Please sort the levels

This is my favourite podcast in the world. I could be in the middle of listening to another podcast but t when this comes up on my feed it’s played straight away. Love the girls, love the content, love the Patreon worth every penny.
But please sort out the levels and the mic noise. Sometimes it’s like (for example) Cassie and Jen could be on the same volume level but then Sophie’s volume turned way down. If I turn the volume up to hear her I’m then deafened when anyone else speaks. I know the address the extra mic noises like someone is moving or tapping on the mic so I understand that’s a difficult thing to control but it’s particularly bad when I have to turn the volume way up to hear whichever person is on a low volume in that episode. Please try and sort this!
