Whether we acknowledge it or not, we inherit certain things from our parents - our looks, our genes, even our talents and tendencies. In this special episode, Sumi and her mom talk about what it was like for Sumi growing up (her Herritage *say it in a gangstah slang*, so to speak). This heartfelt conversation dips into Sumi’s childhood of being the black sheep of the family, hating the healthy lifestyle as a kid but embracing it as an adult, and how her late father influenced their legacy as a family. They reflect on how their mother-daughter relationship morphed as the years passed by, and how the bond grows stronger when we acknowledge with open hearts that all our parents did for us, they did out of love. 

Home is where the heart is. So how can we make our house a safe and warm place to come back to? Do we have a tendency to hold on to old sentimental items, or buy expensive things only to show them off and then hide them in the store room? In this episode, Sumi shares about her love for home-decorating and reflects on how by decluttering our houses, we can spring clean our hearts and minds at the same time.
