In this episode, we get into the heart of discipleship and the mission of the church, guided by the scriptures:


John 1:14 - "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
John 5:17, 19, 8:29 - "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working... Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does... The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him."
Isaiah 61:3 - "To all who mourn in Israel he will give: beauty for ashes; joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness."
1 John 4:18-19 - "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us."

In this episode, we explore the transformative power of embracing the wild, radical teachings of Jesus, moving beyond mere consideration to active discovery. Drawing from scriptures such as John 5:19, Romans 14:17, and John 4:34-35, we dive into the essence of discipleship and the disconnect between the teachings of Jesus and the actions of some who claim to follow him. Through four postures of Jesus - Son of Man - illustrated in Matthew 16:13, Matthew 11:19, Luke 19:10, and Mark 10:45, we learn to authentically imitate Christ in our daily lives. Finally, we witness the transformational encounters individuals have with Jesus, as depicted in various Gospel stories, where they are lifted up, transformed, and renewed, experiencing freedom, family, peace, grace, and restoration. Join us as we embark on a journey of rediscovery, embracing the wildness of Jesus and experiencing transformation from the inside out.
