Q&A Saturday Mega-Episode #146 is finally up!
Sometimes Q&A Saturday turns into Q&A Sunday.ย ๐ย No matter what the TGD emergency tech team (aka Marta) tried in order to get this episode posted on time, we were foiled at every turn.
The good news is, itโs finally up! The other good news is, instead of answering the usual 5 questions, we tackled 20! We had SO many great questions this week that I was wracked with guilt trying to decide which ones would and wouldnโt make the cut.ย And while we couldnโt answer them all (between all 3 pages there was something like 80+ questions), we decided to attempt to tackle 20. Letโs just say that took awhile. But it was worth it. We picked a diverse group of questions, so there should be something for just about everyone.
A quick overview on the subjects we covered: what qualifies a pup for e-collar training, what to do if an off-leash dog charges you, how to mellow a rambunctious young dog, what to do when your dog challenges you, recall issues, how to cope with a physically senior but mentally young dog, correcting reactivity on walks, how to safely launch your own training business, how to qualify clients, working with a nervous dog who isnโt toy/food/praise driven, mastering e-collar Heel, and my favorite...tips for working with a 2 headed dog, and yes...lots more.
