Mastering Self-Doubt & Ageing Gracefully With Dr Susan Hardwick-Smith Experible with Krati Mehra

    • Self-Improvement

Sometimes, doesn't it feel like we're all unwilling participants in some kind of competition about who 'does' life best? We feel like everything is under examination- our physical appearance, careers, relationships, etc. This gets worse as we get older, and our age starts to make visible changes to our body.
With each advancing year, we should all be glad for the wisdom and experience we’ve collected with each preceding year, we should revel in the self-knowledge that allows us to make better choices and only choose adventures that speaks to our soul. Unfortunately, too many of us are worried about becoming irrelevant, losing our love for life, and losing the energy and drive that makes us interesting.
I know that a lot of people after a certain age feel exactly like that and while, it’s natural to fear the change that age brings with it, at the same, I really want each and every one of us to embrace those very changes with grace and remember that none of it actually defines us; it doesn’t dictate who we get to be with each new day which is what we’re talking about in today’s episode.

Our guest, Dr. Susan Hardwick Smith (https://completemidlifewellnesscenter.com/) is an award-winning, Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, author and life coach based in Houston, Texas. In addition to starting one of the largest all female OB/GYN groups in the country, she is also the founder of AGIL, a line of skin care products and certified organic transdermal hormones that support optimal aging. Susan is passionate about helping women navigate midlife while remaining vibrant, connected and sexually satisfied. She has done extensive research on the subject of menopause and sexuality and has written a book ‘Sexually Woke’ which talks about exploring the need for a deeper connection with oneself and others in order to join the “Sexually Woke,” a group of over 1,000 women surveyed who have discovered vibrant sexual and spiritual lives in midlife.
Dr. Susan has herself gone through an awakening in her 50s that led to the kind of change that demanded a complete upheaval of all things comfortable and familiar, but Dr. Susan handled it like an absolute badass and did whatever was necessary to create a life that she adores.
