A jam on health with humour and in ‘high spirits’

"... by far one of the most grounded, relevant, light-hearted and, most of all, relatable fitness podcasts out there with two of the most personable hosts in the podcast arena... their even-handed approach to slicing and dicing through the many of today's health and fitness trends and concerns while keeping most of the discussions engaging and intelligible through the length of an episode is a lesson in simplicity and cutting out the BS... Give me someone who says fitness podcasts are preachy and arrogant and boring and all laden with a macho-ness and I will direct them to this 'one' to show there can be fantastic exceptions! Strength and Scotch has been one of my most trusted and untiring aural allies in most of my daily commutes to work and back home... and at the end of every episode I am always left smiling and happy with the knowledge that I know something more about health and fitness than just a mere 30 minutes back... Strength and Scotch works because of its content... it works because of the way the content is delivered which I believe is non-pareil... it works because the show has a heart that beats alright and a brand of humour and camarederie that has become so hard to find in today's world let alone in the podcast universe... it works because it is a show by this two guys who are not just fitness nerds but are friends with a common mission to spread awareness and interest about health in the larger community around them with a healthy dose of laughter, curiosity, science, numbers, humility, genuine conversations and then some alcohol'.
