    Cloe Klaus (they/them) is an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Notre Dame. They currently serve as the District 4 Rep on the NATA LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee, and an ex officio member of the GLATA Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and previously served on the President's Advisory Board on Equity and Inclusion at Bellarmine University. Cloe's dedication to equity and inclusion extends beyond their lived experience as a trans and non-binary person, trying to create a more equitable workplace for all. 
    Dr. Ashley Crossway (she/her) is an Assistant Professor, Program Director for the Professional Athletic Training Program at the State University of New York at Cortland.  She was a founding member and District 2 representative on the NATA LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee from its inception as a workgroup in 2016, then as a full fledge committee from 2017 to 2023.

    Dr. Amanda Tritsch (she/her) is an Associate Professor, Program Director for the Professional Athletic Training Program, and Assistant Director of the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of South Florida.  She currently serves as the District IX representative on the NATA LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee, Chairs the SEATA LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee, sits on the CAATE Standards Committee, and the CAATE Professional Accreditation Council.
    Dr. Sean Rogers (he/him) is an associate professor and coordinator of clinical education for the athletic training and health sciences programs at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He currently serves as the District 5 representative to the NATA LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee, after having previously served as the District 8 representative. Sean was also a founding member of the workgroup that eventually led to the formation of this NATA committee .

    Guest Biography:
    Dr. Ryan McCann is an associate professor in Old Dominion University’s School of Rehabilitation Sciences. He earned bachelor's and master’s degrees in athletic training from Northern Kentucky University and ODU, respectively.  He earned a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Kentucky. Dr. McCann currently teaches in ODU’s Master of Science in Athletic Training program and is co-director of the PhD in Kinesiology & Rehabilitation program. His research focuses on risk factors, neuromuscular consequences, and interventions for ankle injuries.

    Dr. Erin Reifsteck is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at UNC Greensboro. Erin's research focuses on promoting physical activity, health, and well-being during sport and life transitions, with an emphasis on translating psychosocial theories and research findings into practice.
    Dr. J.D. DeFreese is a Teaching Associate Professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. J.D.'s research examines the associations among current and former athlete mental, physical, and social functioning. J.D’s recent work has focused on how the transition from sport to non-sport activities is specifically associated with these important biopsychosocial outcomes for athletes.
