Poem: Crescent Moon Sailor
Who I once was and what I am now
Voyaged across unforgiving waters
Of a million questions asked
But none explained
A monumental storm is brewing
Colbalt blue waves rise with authority
Rocking my sailboat with such intensity
The tiller has a conscience of its own
And the sails are loose from the mast
Oh wherefore was my death
Under the crescent moon fortold
Gold stars twinkle in the sea foam
Like magical dust fairies keep so dear
All in moonlight ascended
