Dr. Kristina Zakhary is a Calgary based plastic surgeon. We sat down and talked to her about her experience temporarily closing her practice, the new protocols they have adopted and what she expects for the future.

Rabia and Nav first met in 2017, when her car was experiencing some problems with fluid leakage. After seeing her post about her car troubles on Facebook Nav responded and her car was fixed the very next morning! This was the beginning of a good friendship between the two entrepreneurs. Rabia is a hair and makeup artist, and has been running her successful makeup artistry business for several years now. Unfortunately, four years ago, Rabia’s mother passed away. In the wake of her mother’s passing she began to question the way she was practicing makeup artistry and the ways in which she could attach more meaning to her work. Reflecting on her own life experiences as a South Asian woman and the stories she heard from her clients she set out on a mission to make her business and industry healthier.
