Delbert Larson, PhD in Physics with New Theory of the Aether: A Prejudice Towards Simplicity

Delbert Larson, PhD in Physics with New Theory of the Aether: A Prejudice Towards Simplicity

You can follow Delbert Larson on Twitter @Larsondelbert or at his website, https://larsonism.com.
The topics you will find discussed there include a replacement for relativity, a new way to produce clean and cheap energy through fusion, a new quantum mechanical formulation and a new theory for elementary particles.
Today's conversation focuses foremost on the theory of the Aether which would be a replacement for relativity. Dr. Larson has a Ph.D. in physics and decades of experience as an author and reviewer of peer-reviewed scientific works. Among his many efforts are three sole-author publications in the highly prestigious journal Physical Review Letters[1,2,3]. He's held positions at well-known institutions such as the Superconducting Super Collider, where he had a leading role on longitudinal physics design, and UCLA, where he was an adjunct assistant professor of physics. He has designed and led the construction of two working accelerators[4,5], one of which[4], a 2.5 MeV electron accelerator, employed “relativistic” particle velocities. Timestamps are approximate. Rick Walker: The Pursuit of Truth, Beauty and the Alignment of Embodied Action

A wide-ranging discussion on topics such as free will, entrepreneurship, creativity, and the pursuit of truth. The philosophical implications of free will in the context of scientific determinism and materialism. The significance of creativity and the interplay of love, beauty, and truth in the creative process. Connections between the constraints in art, science, and the natural world, emphasizing the necessity of boundaries for the emergence of new forms of beauty and significance. The embodiment of transcendence and immanence, exploring how the experience of beauty and meaning impacts and is impacted by our identity. The significance of having both someone to love and an enemy to fight, and the role of communication and propagation in fulfilling our purpose as human beings. The transformative power of unconventional time signatures in jazz music, drawing on examples from Dizzy Gillespie and Dave Brubeck emphasizing the artistic freedom and creativity that arises from breaking away from standard time signatures, likening it to the necessary constraint that precedes artistic release. The intricate relationships between elements of design and their presence in art, science, and musical compositions. The balance between technicality and attraction to beauty in driving breakthroughs.

Ryan on Memory Consolidation, Destabilization, Reconsolidation and the True Meaning of Love

Ryan on Memory Consolidation, Destabilization, Reconsolidation and the True Meaning of Love

Listening to Ryan's journey through destabilization to coherence was a deeply meaningful experience for me, as I hope it will be for you. Try to set aside the time to listen to the whole thing as it all comes together in the end. We journey through the laying down of memories (the initial consolidation), the destabilizing journey, and the rapid reconsolidation that brings hope. His description of the eclipse is also NOT TO BE MISSED!
