Students and early career faculty benefit from support and thrive when they have a sense of community. When students achieve success programs, patients are the ultimate beneficiaries. Adrian is joined by Dr. Donna Murray to discuss the value of mentoring new faculty, applicants, and PA students as tools for increasing diversity in our profession.

If you want to develop an inclusive environment for students and faculty, intentional recruitment is the answer. Adrian and Dr. Murray talk about the SCOTUS ruling on affirmative action and the partnerships Dr. Murray has started between HBCUs and state PA organizations in NC, GA and VA with future expansion to other states to improve diversity within the PA profession.

Harrison shares his inside knowledge on the writing and publishing process – from the hustle and motivation to crafting a vision bigger than the bigger picture – advice to all medical educators seeking scholarship.
