    Episode 48: In The Office

    Episode 48: In The Office

Today, the CMP chiefdom explores the tricky subject of the workplace. Yeah, we all need it, but if we had the choice; would anybody really choose to deal with lazy managers, blatant exploitation, way too many hours, and not enough sleep? The answer, obviously, is hell no! The lies of the workplace are many and varied, and one of the most popular among them is the idea that your job is supposed to be some kind of family. The CMP chiefs tackle this topic, along with nepotism, sex in the workplace, and a whole lot of other things that will probably ensure we never get hired. All for you!

    Episode 47: Advanced Adulting

Navigating life can get a little tricky as you grow a little older. With this episode, the CMP chiefs explore some of the most unexpected pitfalls of growing up, as well as share a few vital lessons that have helped them in their lives. One of the biggest lessons straight off the bat has to do with 5-year plans. Is it really practical to have a 5-year plan in a world where pandemics last for years and wars pop up quicker than pregnancies? The CMP chiefs debate.

More trickiness ensues as the chiefs explore the role of romance and relationships in their current plans, question what they really need in their lives right now, and explore the fascinating phenomenon of time's passage. This episode takes a personal dive into the lives and hearts of the three chiefs, revealing shocking details.

Generally a chilled episode though. Was fun to record.

Episode 46: The Soundtrack To Your Life

Episode 46: The Soundtrack To Your Life

With the release of Mr. Morales and The Big Steppers, Kendrick Lamar has reinvigorated our interest in the Hip Hop scene. So, we take a stroll down memory lane, exploring some of the most classic and iconic Hip Hop albums to shape our teenage years. Illmatic, Take care, and a whole lot of other albums come up in the intro. After that, we begin a discussion on Kendrick's album, and it somehow leads us to an ethical debate on censorship, freedom of speech, and the future of society. The question: should he be allowed to say "F*ggot", as he did on Auntie diaries? Should anybody be?

The conversation continues onto another key element of Hip Hop culture: prison. With 21 Savage, Meek Mill, 6ix 9ine, Dave, Freddie Gibbs and a whole host of other popular rappers having faced jail time, the CMP Chiefs explore whether it's a matter of young black rappers being targeted or dangling food in a lion's mouth.

Featuring Pocket Muscle by Bands on the intro and Stuck in The Mud by Dinho on the outro, this episode is a chilled, laid-back listen from beginning to end. Hope you enjoy!

Episode 45: Caution! Men At Work!

Episode 45: Caution! Men At Work!

Elon Musk is buying Twitter! But what does this mean for the common, every day twitter-zen? Are we finally going to get that 'edit Tweet' button? Or will the popular social media site turn into tesla's private advertising platform? The Cancel Me Think Tank tackles these questions and many others.

Some would even view the billionaire's move as 'classic alpha-male energy'. The CMP chiefs analyze exactly what it means to be an alpha male, and what sets them apart from all the other kinds of males in the world. To validate our important social research, we take turns attempting to categorize ourselves and then each other with some unexpected results. Gents, have you ever wondered whether you qualify as an alpha male? Huns, have you suspected your boyfriend of having Sigma male energy? Whatever the case is, we pull back the covers on the insides of a man's mind on this episode.

Finally, things get a little heavy as we discuss Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's trial. The conversation brings us to male victims of domestic violence and abuse, and Chief Lungelo unexpectedly opens up with a shockingly vulnerable story.

Featuring 'Can't See Me' by Wethu and 'Bleeding Oceans' by Bonnie, today's episode promises everything the Cancel Me Podcast is known for, along with a rare delicate touch. Tune in now! And if you'd like to reach out to us, follow us on twitter @podcastcancel. Enjoy the listen!

Episode 44: False Profits Part III

Episode 44: False Profits Part III

On today's episode of the Cancel Me Podcast, the CMP chiefs take on the BIG issues. Firstly, and most importantly, we explore the experience of being with a spiritually gifted hun. Are they really able to see through all our B.S. with nothing but intuition and foresight? Or does the third eye need an eye exam?

Moving swiftly from that, we explore some of the controversy surrounding the findings of the popular liberation group, BLM's latest spending. With their founder being accused of spending millions on a lavish home in the hills of L.A., we briefly philosophise on the practicality of donating money to major corporations and share a few stories about being disappointed when we found out where our "street donations" went.

Featuring music from the 031 Goats (Foot On The Gas) for the intro, and Wethu (Summertime) for the outro, this episode is an absolute vibe from start to finish! Episode 43: The Shadow Of Death

Episode 43: The Shadow Of Death

The CMP boys take a detour from their usual debauchery and madness to share their experiences surrounding the devastating floods that affected all of us here in Durban. For some, the floods were just another news story, but for the survivors who lived through them, they were a traumatic, cataclysmic event. We saw homes getting washed away, highways disappearing, and, even mudslides! Even in these conditions, the CMP still has stories about brave men who weathered the storm to score some rainy-day tlof tlof.

For all this and more, tune in to episode 43 of the Cancel Me Podcast: The Shadow of Death.
