We are pleased to share with you the third episode of our podcast, dedicated to the French artist Paul Lay and the Bahraini group Dawas Band that we have received at the Alliance Française of Bahrain for an exclusive concert.

As a multi-facetted pianist whose original style has been nurtured over the last ten years by working with so many different musicians, Paul Lay ranks among France’s leading jazz musicians. After graduating from the CNSM (Paris Conservatory) in 2010, Paul released his first album, Unveiling, with Simon Tailleu and Elie Duris, to glowing reviews from the critics. Over the last ten years he has won prestigious awards at national and international jazz piano competitions. Paul enjoys working with different musicians in original formats. The Ismail Dawas Group represents traditional Bahraini music and was established in 1935. Their music preserves the continuity of Bahrain's ancient arts to remain immortal and bequeathed to future generations.
