No es un secreto que en muchas agencias de publicidad en Hispanoamérica, las condiciones laborales de los practicantes/becarios/trainees son precarias. Pero para suerte de las futuras generaciones creativas, alguien ha tenido la valentía de dar los primeros pasos para cambiar la situación: Mariajo Jiménez. Esta vez me echo una chela con la fundadora de Basic Label, un sello que busca identificar a las agencias que garantizan condiciones laborales básicas a sus becarios. Un tema incómodo para algunos, pero que nos debe importar a todos los que queremos vivir de las ideas.

I digitally meet with Brave Prachuabmoh (CW) and  Seine Kongruangkit (AD), both students from Miami Ad School Europe at Hamburg, Germany (though Seine has now transferred to Berlin). These guys went viral within a day of being published by Ads Of The World and now big agency names around the world are headhunting them.

I digitally meet with Spencer Linton, host at Just Getting Started Podcast, and currently at 5Q of Design Program at The Creative Circus. Besides breaking this podcast's record for the longest time to finish an episode, we take away a lot of mutual learning around portfolio and creative schools around North America, Latin America and Europe.

La creatividad es un juego de fútbol y tuve la fortuna de sentarme con el Zinedine Zidane de la publicidad contemporánea: Pancho Cassis. Hasta inicios del 2019, era el Director Técnico (DCE, vaya) de la oficina madrileña de LOLA MullenLowe, equipo con el que llevaron a marcas como Burger King, Cornetto y Líbero a levantar varias copas (Cannes, El Ojo, El Sol, One Show...) Ese mismo verano, sacude el mercado de transferencias y sale de LOLA para fundar MAD. Meses más tarde, se asocia con David The Agency y es nombrado por esta red como CCO Global. Sin más preámbulo, aquí te van 90 minutos del deporte más hermoso del mundo: La creatividad.
