This podcast examines the many possibilities to solving the issue of over crowding in animal shelters, such as focusing on what shelters do to inform people on this issue and finding solutions for it. The research included sources from blogs, news broadcasts, and even going directly to shelters who are having difficult times with overcrowding. Most sources claimed that having fundraisers/adoptions is the best source in solving the problem. It was discovered that while even though many pet owners know that buying from shelters is the right thing to do, animal shelters should hold pet adoption events to help their shelter with the issue that is affecting about 50% of the shelters around us.
