Allie Lieber is a Program Manager at Google Earth Outreach, which means that she travels the world helping non-profits used Google Earth to achieve their missions. She's worked with the Jane Goodall foundation to help preserve chimpanzee habitats in Tanzania, she's worked in South East Asia to identify land mines, and she's even using google maps to help stop the spread of malaria.

In this interview we talk about how Allie got this amazing job, how a childhood experience taught her how to lean into fear, and how to avoid getting attacked by baboons.

Monis Khan is an interview producer at Al Jazeera's award winning show, The Stream (well he was when we did this interview over a year ago, now he's taken his talents to ESPN.
