    Offer Hacking Guide for IT Consultants

    Good day. Hello. How are we doing today? A bit of a cheesy intro there. I'm kind of not really used to doing podcasts. This is kind of a new experience for me and I just thought I'd be given us a chance. I enjoy talking and I enjoy shooting videos and I enjoy recording myself and talking to myself in the shower and, you know, in the car and stuff like that. So I just, I'm one of these, see what this experience would be like and perhaps offer you guys some value along the way. So part of what I'm gonna be talking about today is creating an offer for your business.




    Kind of a broad topic, a lot of peoples kind of already have an offer or, you know, they have a sort of a core product that they sell or market. But they don't typically have an offer. So an offer is basically a group of products, not necessarily just your primary core product, because let's face it. If you're in a particular niche, you're going to be probably offering products that are being offered by other companies as well. Your direct competition, for example, we'll be offering the same product. For instance, if you're selling toothpaste as a very sort of, kind of weird example, but there are companies that obviously make toothpaste and you've got a competitor that also makes toothpaste and they've got a specific type of toothpaste and you've got different types of teas pastes, and that's great. Everyone's selling toothpaste. So people definitely need toothpaste.


    It's not really too much of a difficult sell in terms of toothpaste, but in terms of what your company is trying to achieve you're trying to sell toothpaste and you're trying to sell a lot of toothpaste where an offer comes into it is you're going to build something that adds additional value to the product that you're trying to sell. So in this case, it's toothpaste, you're going to bundle stuff along with your core product. So, you know, buy toothpaste and I'll give you a toothbrush. I'll give you some floss. I'll give you this cool guide on how to keep your teeth healthy. I've got another cool God that shows you exactly how to take care of your teeth. Certain foods that might stay in your teeth, there's a God based on what top of foods could discolor your teeth, so to speak and general dental care you know, as a product that can be built and offered along with your toothpaste.


    So part of the offer is, you know, to, to kind of do research on what competitors are doing and offering in the marketplace and then taking the best parts of that and adding that to your core product, to bold, what's called an offer and then basically taking people on a journey and telling them a story along the way.

    But you know, you know how you battled to keep your teeth clean and white and you need to constantly brush it because you lock us in top of feed, which required you to take extra care and caution when it came to your teeth. And then you ended up having to buy whitening strips and all sorts of other good stuff. And yet to use, you know, basically types of mouthwash that keep your teeth white. And you know, but along the way I found this really cool product, they're not only sell toothpaste.
