2. फसल के पोषक तत्वों को अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से अपेक्षाकृत अघुलनशील पोषक स्रोतों का उपयोग करके प्रदान करना जो मिट्टी के सूक्ष्म जीवों की क्रिया द्वारा पौधे को उपलब्ध कराया जाता है।

3. फलियां और जैविक नाइट्रोजन स्थिरीकरण के उपयोग के साथ-साथ फसल अवशेषों और पशुधन खाद सहित कार्बनिक पदार्थों के प्रभावी पुनर्चक्रण के माध्यम से नाइट्रोजन आत्मनिर्भरता।
