    Change

    Change

We can’t become who we want to be by remaining who we are. It’s a funny old thing ‘change’, isn’t it? It can be uncomfortable, unwelcome, unwanted even, but we all instinctively know that we can’t live without it. There’s no life without change. So let today be the day we stop railing against it and, instead of using our energy to fight with the old ways, we channel that same energy into building the new.

    I'm so proud of you

    I'm so proud of you

It’s nice isn’t it, when someone tells you how proud they are of you for what you’ve done, or for who you have become.

And it’s interesting too that despite knowing the wonderful gift that this short phrase is to people, we rarely bestow it on others - in either a personal or professional context.
Perhaps they already know.  Or perhaps they don’t.
Maybe we should clear that up!

    Listen up

    Listen up

Listening to the undertones, that’s the challenge. We all know that we should listen more and speak less. Not just to the words that are being spoken, but why they are being spoken. Next time you’re speaking with a client, your manager or your partner, rather than just responding to the words being spoken, take a moment - go deeper-and see if you can figure out the ‘why’ behind their words. Join us in this episode of The Ripple Effect podcast to find out more.
