36-Two key decisions to enhancing your business and career growth

36-Two key decisions to enhancing your business and career growth

In this episode we shall answer the question, “what are the two decisions you can make right now that will have a remarkable impact on your business and career growth?”. These questions come in the light of you developing your own success system. So, we shall discuss two key decisions that could enhance your business and career growth in the light of developing your success system.
The first question we want to answer is “what disciplined action can you take right now that will have a massive impact on your career and business outcome in the short, medium, and long term? The decision of what disciplined action(s) that you can take, and it will have a massive impact on achieving one’s outcome is a major area successful individuals give their attention to. This way they are able to zero in on the task at hand. This is a little different from the decision of which goals to concentrate on. This is however the decision of the work it will take to accomplish those goals. It is the activities you must  engage with and the hours of efforts that will be needed to deliver result in the particular area of goals that you are looking to achieve result.
The decision of the discipline actions you need to cultivate on the way to achieving your goals helps in developing the necessary routine that will take over and enable you to focus your decision-making energy on other things. For instance, when you decide to develop your communication skills; you decide the discipline required and you set that into some kind of scheduled plan. From that moment you commit to it and then make yourself do it. When that is repeated over a long period of time, it becomes part of your daily routine and then you wouldn’t necessarily need to wake up every day to decide to do that, the decision made ahead of time out of discipline, followed with action will take over and that become an auto-pilot activity eventually.
The late Kobe Bryant was being interviewed and was asked why he choose to train at 4:00 am in the morning, to which he responded that, that was what seems natural to him. When he further explains, it turned out that at some point he reckoned that the key to success is for him to put in more work into his training for his craft/ game than most other basket ballers would put in. For that to happen, he decided the discipline to put in place was to get up earlier that the rest at 4:00 for his practices, that way he could achieve the number of hours he has set for himself per day. once that decision of the discipline action required for his peak performance and success was set and follow for a protracted period, it became routine and that would aid him to his legendary fit. As you decide on what disciplined action to engage with in your desire to succeed and you follow through on that decision, you will be setting yourself up for perpetual success. Decide your disciplined routine today and that will determine your success tomorrow.
The second question we will answer as it relates to succeeding at you career or business is “what are you prepared to give up, if you want to grow and go up?” So, have you decided what you are prepared to give up in other to grow or go up?
If you will get to the top of the stairs; for every step you take, you give up the lower level in other to climb to the higher level. You cannot keep your foot on the lower rung of the ladder and hope to take possession of the next level. This is the law of climb. there is always something to give up in other to go and grow up. What this means is deciding ahead of time what sacrifices would be required to create the results you have set for yourself.
Jesus the master teacher of all times said, “except a corn of wheat fall to the ground and die, it will abide alone, but if it dies it will bring forth much fruit.” If you understand the way seeds germinate, you will appreciate the wisdom in this saying. Jesus

    35-Deciding goals to focus on

    35-Deciding goals to focus on

Decides what Goals to focus on
One of the key areas of decisions that successful people consider is what goals to focus on in every season of their lives. This is because we have limited time, resources, and energy at any one given point in time. So, the decision of which goals to prioritise is a success booster and can be consider as wisdom on the path to success.

Getting this right could save you a great deal of stress. knowing what goal to take on at the different seasons of your life could be the difference between compounding successes or stagnation. It could be the difference between scaling up and setbacks.
In this regard, it is important to acknowledge the law of sequence in the equation of success. sequence matters and the goals you choose to focus on could determine the level of success you achieve. It is significant in determining whether success is going to be perpetual for you or not. So, look at your goals and decide on which of the goals will take up your energy, thoughts, and resources at the different seasons of your life.
The power of this is such that when you are able to decide what goals to select for the moment, it heightens your capacity to focus your energy on the work at hand, which has a way of increasing your chances of success; One successful outcome would then fuel your inspiration to take on the next goal.

Often times, the success from the previous goal in one season has a way of helping to point out what could be the next goal and therefore make such subsequent decision easier for the next season of life. This makes success progressive and not isolated disjointed occurrences. This will lift the individual's efforts from just being a trial and error; hit and miss engagement to a sequence of events where one project dovetail into another. Elon Musk is a great example of choosing different goals to focus on in different seasons. Elon musk focusing on delivering his PayPal project and then subsequently selling out his stakes to invest in the Tesla project and then taking on the SolarCity initiative before moving on into the SpaceX project is very instructive in the decision of what goal to take on at the different seasons of one’s life.
In 1995, Musk co-founded Zip2 with his brother Kimbal with a loan of US$28,000 from their father. They would develop this business and later sold it in February 1999 to Compaq for $307 million cash and US$34 million in bonds.
Musk decided to refocus by creating a new company X.com in March of 1999 as an online financial services and email payment company.  In 2000, X.com had a merger with Confinity who had a money transfer service called PayPal. PayPal would be acquired by eBay for US$1.5 billion in stock and Musk 11.7% shares of that brought what he received to US$165 million Musk then focused on co-founding Tesla, SolarCity. Hyperloop, OpeAI, Neuralink. Musk would go back to PayPal in 2017 to purchase the X.com back again. This would now determine his next area of focus. It is important to note that his ability to decide on what goals/ project/initiative to focus on is a major strength of his string of business successes.
Success does really become habitual when one is able to focus on specific goals per time. Elon Musk is said to sees failure and setbacks as pointers to the options of what to do next. He said “Failure is only an option. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough.” Look at your life at every season and ask yourself the question, what should I decide to focus on in this season. Every season has a product it should birth and a project it should deliver. Just like you have in the natural, some fruit and plants do better in a particular season than the other, it is important that you decide on what goals to focus on at the different seasons.
This is to your great focus and the best outcome of this s

    34-Decision in your success system

    34-Decision in your success system

In this episode we shall answer the question “what drives your success?” This question comes in the light of your success system. While we have established in our previous episodes that information provides the fuel that galvanizes your inspiration to action, it is important to note here that there is a bridge between the information that you receive and the actions you take. This is so crucial to the point that understanding this concept will eliminate for you what seem to be a single point of failure for most people. It is such a silent destroyer of destiny that it has gone un-noticed by most people for centuries. Understanding this force has the potential of multiplying your effectiveness and desired outcome multiple folds. In one word it is the force of DECISION. The force of decision is one of the strongest and most dynamic life changing force anyone could ever set into motion. It determines the direction of your life and could impact the direction of a nation, a people and even generations yet unborn.

33_Success System-What is growing Inside you?

33_Success System-What is growing Inside you?

In this episode we shall answer the question “what is growing inside you and why that is important?” in the light of your success system.
So, I ask you “What are you internalising?
Over the last two decades as I have studied the art of succeeding and the psychology of success, I have come to find out that the key to success is largely dependent on what is happening on the inside of the individual. What is going on in the mind, emotion and heart of the individual psychologist says determines the state and consequently the outcome in the life of that person. It has even been proven that the mental state and emotional balance of an individual athlete will greatly impact on the outcome of the artist performance.
This has to a large extent informed the need for motivation and constant pep talk in many arenas as a means of getting people into an emotional state of performing as a high achiever. Now all that is great, and the concept of motivation is tenable as a way to getting people to tap into their personal will power to move themselves to do what it takes to succeed. However, the key to lasting motivation must be to move motivation from been an external experience to an internal experience.

32_Success System- The Force of Information

32_Success System- The Force of Information

In this episode, we look at the force of information.
So, let us uncover the force of information as the first tool in delivering the results you desire.
As we have covered in two previous episodes, our success system operates in cycle. Life in general operates in cycle; from the solar Systems to the different seasons of the year, the season of seedtime and harvest sets in motion in creation; all things function and operate in cycles. The very first force that tigger the cycle of success for you and continue to drive the wheel of fortune in your favour is the force of knowledge.  According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, “The mind, once stretched by a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions”. Knowledge convey ideas that stretches our imaginations and inspires our actions. So, we see that Information is at the root of good success. The results we get in any arena of life is a function of the information we possess in that area of life. The right information therefore is the first trigger of success. Now let us explore the way this works in this episode. Like, share and leave a review as it helps us to reach more people with the insight for personal mastery. Enjoy your day.

    31_Success system and its forces

Like many things in creation, the success system operates in cycle. Life in general operates in cycle; from the solar Systems to the different seasons of the year, to a woman hormonal cycle, the season of seedtime and harvest sets in motion in creation; all things function and operate in cycles.  According to Gary Keller, the author of ‘The One Thing’, “Success is actually a short race—a sprint fuelled by discipline just long enough for habit to kick in and take over.” So, we see the different elements of success operating interactively in a cyclical manner one thing trigger another in a chain reaction that when it becomes habitual assumes a life of its own such that it has the potential to become a gift that keeps on giving. This is the system that is at the core of some of the most successful people you will ever meet either in career, or business and in life generally. So, let us uncover the Success System and the different elements that drives the forces which deliver the results you desire.
