Research published by the financial watchdog last week found a younger, more racially diverse group of people are getting into investing, but that too many put money they can’t afford to lose into higher-risk products without doing their homework, preferring to follow trends, influencers, and their gut instinct.

To find out more, Iona talks to Myron Jobson, personal finance campaigner at ii (interactive investor), one of the UK's biggest investing platforms. Simon and Iona then discuss whether investor education is robust or relevant enough.
