174. Creating Chances: The Power of Persistence
Few achievements in life come without trial and error. Of course, some things do go right as you wanted from the get-go, but more often than not, the tasks we set to achieve our goals require repetition and persistence. Each failure is a stepping stone that will get you to where you want to be and provides you with opportunities to learn, refine your skills, sharpen your focus, and succeed. So ask yourself, are you giving yourself enough opportunities to succeed?
This week, I show you how to stop judging yourself when you don’t achieve your goals right away and the power of persistence in the goals you set for yourself. Discover why so many people judge themselves when it comes to their goals, and how to give yourself enough chances to not only achieve your goal but navigate the learning process that comes with each attempt.

172. The Importance of Rest
We often view rest as a treat that comes once we’ve worked hard and been productive. This view is reinforced by a society that encourages this kind of behavior. However, functioning in this way comes at a massive cost, and it needs to change. Taking time to reflect and recharge isn’t optional; it’s necessary.
Learn why rest is so important, why so many of us aren’t resting when we need to, and why prioritising rest is essential for your health and wellbeing. Discover how to reframe the way you currently think about rest so you can start recognising when you’re pushing yourself to your limits, and learn how to start prioritising rest in your life.

171. Jumping to Conclusions
Jumping to conclusions is a common habit that we all do in some form or another. We fill in the blanks with narratives we create based on a patchwork of assumptions and half-truths. But life is complicated enough without adding extra layers of misunderstanding and misinterpretation to the mix, and jumping to conclusions can lead to stress, resentment, and a life filled with unnecessary drama.
I share a proven process to help you catch yourself in the act of jumping to conclusions so that you understand why you do it and how to stop it. Hear some questions you can ask yourself to establish where you might be jumping to conclusions in your life, and learn how to use this awareness to approach situations with a new perspective.

169. The Power of Community in Getting Your Needs Met
How often do you sideline your own needs, because you’re too caught up looking out for others? Whether it’s a conscious or subconscious decision, this is something so many of us do. There's nothing wrong with caring, of course, but the problem lies when you do so in a way that you override or dismiss your own needs in the process.
I share a huge part of why our needs don’t get met, and reflect on the ways the communities you are part of influence your ability to know, express, and fulfil your needs. Discover how to navigate your needs in a world that often tells us to keep quiet, carry on, and focus on what everyone else needs and wants.
