From R.Kelly to Bill Cosby and good ole O.J. People have opinions about celebrities in prison. In this episode we touch on the subject of celebrities and prison from both those who are in, those who beat the case, and the questionable ones as well. Should celebrities be held to the same standards as the public? We will also identify celebrities that work to help those in prison such as Kim K, Meek Millz, and Lecrae. Tune in to get the juice!

When someone is incarcerated a part of the family is missing, It becomes a difficult situation for both the individual as well as the family that is left behind. This episode answers the question of how to maintain family ties during a prison term. Both parties are important and one must find a way to have balance even in the event of absence.

At times the hardest feat to conquer is that of forgiveness. However, it is important to understand that one must forgive themselves before asking for forgiveness from others. We will evaluate the  breakdown of ways to forgive, and what the path of forgiveness looks like. This episode delivers key tools necessary to forgive yourself in a world that may never forgive you.

What about the children? Too often children are left in the world without their parents due to incarceration. More often than we realize, these children lack the resources necessary to properly cope with the loss of a parent, or even both. This episode acknowledges the impact that incarceration has on children, and expands on the ideas surrounding proper care, love, and growth of these children.

Women are amongst the largest forgotten individuals in the prison population. While no one knows exactly what to do in order to prepare for a sentence in prison, there is no journey like that taken by an incarcerated female. This episode discusses the emotional, physical, and mental toll prison has on women, as well as, capitalizes on shared experiences to emphasize the challenges women face. We will also shout out women who were released and continued their journey with many accomplishments.
