Saud Ahmed is a musician and most notably the vocalist of past projects The Crimson Armada, The Holy Guile, and most recently Ear to Ear. 
After meeting in what feels like another lifetime ago when he was helping produce the band I was in at the time, and then keeping general connection through social over the years, I sit down with Saud for the first time to really get to know him. With sit down for an intimate and very honest conversation that delves deep into his life journey, in a way he's never publicly shared before. 
We explore Saud's path from struggles with ego and entitlement to finding peace and gratitude. Throughout our chat, Saud shares honest reflections on his experiences within the music industry, spiritual conflict, and personal growth. He opens up about the challenges he faced in reconciling his spiritual beliefs within his music, as well as the major conflicts that arose within his family due to his career aspirations. Saud also reflects on the struggles that come with chasing your goals, what it means to try and be a real adult while pursuing a dream, the changing of musical projects & a lot more. From navigating those conflicts to embracing creativity, and the power of self-discovery, this one's filled with a lot of good stuff that I heavily appreciate Saud being so open about.
