Ro: În inima satului, unde casele țesute cu istorie își împărtășeau povești de veacuri, avea să aibe loc un târg săptămânal.
En: In the heart of the village, where the houses woven with history shared stories for centuries, a weekly market was about to take place.
Ro: Aici, oamenii își scoteau la vânzare roadele muncii lor, iar aerul era plin de voci vesele și miresme amețitoare.
En: Here, people would bring their produce to sell, and the air was filled with lively voices and dizzying scents.
Ro: Piața bruma de culori; verzele frumoase râdeau în soare, iar roșiile își etalau mândre bucuria de a fi coapte la punct.

Ro: "Aaa, Andrei, băiete, azi avem o ofertă specială! Ia-ți un găinuș și vei avea ouă proaspete în fiecare zi," răspundea doamna Ioana cu un clinchet în voce.
En: "Oh, Andrei, my boy, today we have a special offer! Get yourself a hen, and you'll have fresh eggs every day," Mrs. Ioana replied with a sparkle in her voice.
Ro: Andrei, zăpăcit de idee și nefiind cel mai priceput în arta negocierilor, cu un nod în gât și cu o bucurie naivă, s-a lăsat convins și a plecat de la stand cu o găină vie în loc de ouă.
En: Dazzled by the idea and not being very skilled in the art of negotiation, Andrei, with a lump in his throat and naive joy, was persuaded and left the stall with a live hen instead of eggs.
Ro: Nici nu a apucat să facă doi pași, că, văzându-și șansa, găina a sărit din brațele lui și a început un adevărat spectacol în piață.
