My next guest scaled the highest level of professional club rugby in Ireland and the UK, he represented his country at Ireland A, at the 7's Rugby World Cup in Argentina, at school boy level in Rugby and Cricket and he won silverware for Old Belvedere RFC (but not the SCT 1997 final....). Having retired from professional rugby at 29, now he is a chartered physiotherapist and a business owner based at his South Dublin clinic, Personal Health in Rathmines. You'll also know him from his honest and accurate rugby punditry on Newstalk's Off The Ball.
I catch up with Andy to discuss his decision making processes in his rugby and business careers, his preparations for setting up his clinic and the learnings from his journey so far, along with plans for the future. It wouldn't be 2021 if we didn't touch on the impacts on his practice from C-19 and how like most SMEs, he has had to adapt to the "new normal".
