Canna-Curious in Cape Town : a Potcast Keith Lawless

South Africa has begun in earnest the journey to decriminalising marijuana as evidenced by the cannabis for private purposes bill finally being published. It still has to be approved by parliament and then opened up for public comment once more.

The new draft law in its current form sets the legal limit for personal use at home at 600 grams of dried flower if you live alone. This increases to 1,2kg for households with 2 or more adults.

Some of the details are still a bit hazy but this is something we have been extremely canna-curious about for close on two years now since the landmark Constitutional Court case gave government 24 moths to amend the offending legislation.
